Thank you for your interest in beginning your teaching career in Greenwich.

Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) will find Greenwich a fantastic place in which to begin their career, and participation in our centralised induction programme is encouraged. We work hard to ensure the statutory requirements for induction are not only met, but exceeded, to ensure a positive and rewarding experience for all NQTs.

Each year, approximately 100 primary and 100 secondary NQTs join Greenwich schools. To be one of them in September 2010, please complete the online application form on these pages.

If you require a paper application form, or would like any support with your application, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Once your application has been received, it will be assessed against the shortlisting criteria. You will be notified of the outcome of the shortlisting process within two weeks of submitting your application. Only applications meeting these shortlisting criteria will be included in the pool. Schools will have access to this pool, and will contact you directly if they are considering you for a vacancy.
